Went for a walk with Roxy in the early morning. Noticed the antique cars were beginning to arrive for the local car show. I took a picture, compelted the walk and went home to paint. Used watercolor, which I have a heavy hand for and no patience. This is not complete. My weekend project while my husband was out of town.
A sleeping Roxy

Was inspired by a homemade notecard I saw over someone's shoulder. A line drawing! Who knew!? So simple, yet I couldn't master it on the first try. I tried to not lift my hand from the page while drawing, but alas I did, to give into my need to add minor details. This is one of my favorite attempts at something new!
Let them eat cake!

Sometimes my creativity comes in the form of a cake! Baked with love for our Auntie's birthday.
Flesh

Lesson on flesh, left my model's hand blending into her belly and looking like she may be pregnant! This was not a live model series, but a sketch done by my teacher that we used during a lesson on flesh.
Itsa meatball!

Again with the food! Another made with love birthday treat. This time for my husband. Homemade sauce. Homemade meatballs. Homemade pasta. My first attempt at the pasta, my best success at sauce and meatballs! Not too shabby for an Irish gal!
