I don't know about the grown up part.  I guess you can say I am trying to remain as an artist and embrace my creativity as  I did when I was a child?

Art, I see, hear and feel.  I've always been creative but as I got older, I was always too busy.  Sure, once in a while I would dabble in a some creative venture or craft, but didn't make enough time to really enjoy the process or the outcome.  I realized, just like anything else, you have to make the time.  In the past few years, I've reconnected with my interest in oil painting and something unexpected happened...I was enjoying the process and I wanted to share it!  I tapped into something inspiring me to continue and I am enjoying the journey.

Art clears my head and keeps me sane in this fast paced world.  It helps me to focus.  It helps me to think.  It helps me unwind.
